Indigenous Villages in Bali Trying Survive.

 Karangasem District residents are asked to protect the sovereignty of traditional Bali Aga village particularly on village layout in the middle of the tourism industry strikes. Pegringsingan Tenganan Villagers said that there are already awig violation because the growth of population and land use change.
This is summarized in the seminar Spatial Indigenous Village Tenganan Wantilan Pegringsingan in this ancient Balinese village, on Monday (seven thirds). The seminar was organized by Yayasan Wisnu village and supported this TIFA Foundation representatives attended Bappeda, prajuru village, district, and others. Until now, people still occupy Tenganan Pegringsingan garden soil that has been established village with an average area per head of the family area of 2 acres. Total area of the overall settlement was 8.0 ha.

Photography Discussion: "Let the Pictures Speak!"


Photography increasingly sought after and cultivated by various circles. Besides able to combine the sophistication of technology and aesthetics of art, other interesting things from photography is able to summarize the story through a visual language or images, hence the birth of a conjecture.
Last week (26 / 2) has been opened photography exhibition titled "Zoom in Bali" at Bentara Budaya Bali. The exhibition is curated by Iwan Darmawan Made it display dozens of photographic works that tell about various events and stories around Bali today.

Peace Journalisme for Bali Conflict

The Bali will be in  war soon ... That was the atmosphere when we look at the newspapers these days. Two parties in the dispute seemed to have been an integral spatial planning and insisted on his own. As if there was no way out unless one party must be defeated. Demontration and mass mobilization carried out and in turn loaded into headlines. Ridicule and harass each other was done openly.
